Great lunch with my Mom here today we love trying places we haven't been and this is a awesome spot for lunch and dinner too. I've tried 2 times to go here for dinner on a weekend and it's always packed and we left so happy to try lunch. Will definitely have to try a dinner during the week here as the food was so fresh and good. I got the chopped salad and my Mom the chicken wrap we both enjoyed the food and flavors. 😋 They now have a brunch menu 11-3!!👌

Lauren (the best bartender ever!) has been our best friend and awesome server at Gatehouse for years. She is a true gem of a person and they should be so proud and grateful for her commitment and compassion to her work and guests!! She always gives more than 100% to satisfy her guests. We will forever be grateful and completely satisfied as long as you have Lauren on your team!! The food is delicious too!! Always a winner!!

It's was very busy... Service was a little slow. Waitress may be new to the industry. We did order a few apps. They have chef specials... That is one thing I'm always interested in so I tried. It was a seafood pasta with a wine reduction. Very tasty. (Could have used a little more parmesan cheese but I like a lot so). My wife had a creamy potato soup with chicken. It was great. I also recommend the wedge salad bacon was smoked and delicious.

Food is incomparable! So good! Prepared and served to perfection! Service is wonderful...prompt, polite, knowledgeable staff that help make decisions easily! Atmosphere is relaxed and upbeat! ❤❤ love going here from the time you walk in tho the time you leave it's a wonderful night out!

Made a last-minute plan with my friends for New Year’s Eve, and we loved it. It was my first time trying Giorgio's restaurant in Wake Forest, and everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Severely disappointed, our first time eating here. I ordered the fish and chips, first thing I noticed was the fish was SMALLER than the chicken tenders from the kids meal- both had the same batter. The fish had a fishy smell, was clear translucent colored and rubbery freezer burned I’m sure, I couldn’t eat it. Tartar sauce tasted just like mayonnaise and no lemon 🍋 served. My daughter and husband said their food was good. We did tell our server the fish was not edible and all he said was sorry about that and charged us for it. I ate the fries which were decent, but the least he could’ve done was not charge us for the terrible fish I didn’t eat! NEVER going back here again!!! Update: I do not want a free meal- I want to eat good food that I didn’t to make… especially for someone who’s struggling with losing weight; you only get one treat meal for The week and if you make a bad decision it cause so much emotional distress…

It's a bar/restaurant experience. I was very sad when they removed the zucchini fries off the menu, but everything else is what you'd expect. Food is good, service is friendly and you don't have to empty your wallet to eat there. Great local place
